Dear Dreamer...

At this point, I'm sure you've felt some kind of excitement knowing that there is a solution to what you're going through. That is a feeling of hope and brings joy that you too can accomplish all that you desire. And then this happens ...

You lose your momentum for change. You start to doubt yourself. You begin to question WHY this time is going to be any different than everything else that hasn't worked. You don't have time. Money is tight. Blah, blah, blah. The excuses flood your mind and you begin to wish for the quick fix that will solve the problem with little to no effort on your part. How do I know all this? Because this was me ... I was YOU! I lived it but I also overcame it. And so can you! It just takes some work every day to remind yourself that you are worth it!

NOW is when you need to get committed! You need to SHUT THE MEAN GIRL UP and get a moment of clarity again. Let's do it together...

First, dream about what it is going to feel like when you reach that goal of yours. How will it make you feel? Incredible, right? I have the goosebumps as I type this to you. You know it's real when that happens! OK, you got it?

Next, envision you working your tail off because the reward is more powerful than any excuse you can have. Feeling stronger - mentally, physically and emotionally - is worth more than the immediate gratification of [insert whatever it is that you do to self sabotage]! It's choosing the hard thing that is going to get you results. Like working out when you don't feel like it. Or drinking water instead of having dessert! Or going to bed early to rest your body and missing your favorite tv show (hint: DVR it :)).

Lastly, you need to act now. Stop telling yourself YOU CAN'T! If it's important to you (and your health should be #1 over everything including your kids!) then you'll find a way. I hate to be the bad guy but someone has to give you perspective ... if you watch tv and pay a cable bill monthly, you can afford to be healthy! If you smoke butts ... well, you know where there is going! Do you eat out for lunch or dinner often ... yup! It's time to evaluate where you spend your time and money. Excuses and fear will keep you where it's comfortable not necessarily happy and healthy!

You got this! Don't give up before you even start.

I'm cheering you on today and everyday after!

Your twin!
