Managing Your Immune System

It’s no secret we are in a pandemic entering flu season so today I want to talk about ways in which you can take care of your body to boost your immune system. Our bodies are incredible at doing what they are designed to do and that’s keeping us alive and feeling good. It is our job to make sure we allow our bodies to perform their job.

Our guest today, Jenny Waters, is a certified nutrition coach who loves to cook! She is an empty nest mama to 3 daughters and married to her college sweetheart and is helping other empty nesters to eat better, feel better and improve their habits so that they can have energy for more fun! Jenny believes it’s never too late to work on your health so you can be ACTIVE in your life!

  1. You have an incredible story of success with helping your husband to manage three autoimmune diseases, can you share a little about how they came about and the path your passion led you down?
  2. Making changes, especially when it comes to our health can feel overwhelming and daunting. You like to call them healthy snack habits. Can you tell us more about your ‘start where you are’ approach and how small changes can make a big difference?
  3. What are the key ingredients when focusing on your immune health?
  4. There will always be a listener who is thinking, this won’t work for me or I’ve tried it and I still get sick - what would you tell them?
